Journal of Cereal Research (JCR) uses Similarity Check Service through CrossRef – Powered by iThenticate to detect instances of overlapping and similar text in submitted manuscripts. Results returned by the software may be used as a criterion for the analysis of the manuscript by the editorial board and may eventually result in a rejection due to plagiarism, duplicate and superfluous publication.
